The Psychiatric Center at Aarhus University Hospital contains departments for both adult psychiatry, child and youth psychiatry as well as forensic psychiatry. Integrated art works are to be implemented in the coming center and should along with the architecture and the professional focus establish a smoothly running and professional milieu for treatment in a safe and sensuous setting. IN SITU has a long with architects and professional staff developed an art strategy, following IN SITU has facilitated the sketch competition process and finally also the implementation phase.

The new Psychiatric Center will be app. 50.000 m² and must no later than in 2019 replace the more than 150 year old psychiatric hospital in Risskov. The center is being build as a public-private partnership (OPP).
